U.S. Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA-14) issued the following statement after the Obama Administration announced it will delay the enforcement of Obamacare's employer mandate for one year:
"The Administration has confirmed that repealing Obamacare is one of the best job plans around. With this delay, they've acknowledged the law is hurting small businesses and forcing employees to take cuts in wages and hours.
"President Obama used to say, under his law, you can keep your health care plan if you like it. We already know that promise is a broken one. Now, I think the biggest question about Obamacare is, if you have a job you like, can you keep it? The Administration's delay sounds like a "no' to me.
"This news does not change the fact that small businesses in my district will still face all the confusing regulations and fines. Employees will continue to see their work week cut to under 30 hours as employers prepare for massive penalties under the law. The best delay for businesses and workers is a permanent one. We must repeal all of Obamacare."
