Tuesday night the Obama Administration announced a year long delay to Obamacare's employer mandate. In response U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo) issued the following statement:
"The Administration's delay of the employer mandate is an admission that the law is an unworkable job killer, something most of us already knew. What's disturbing is that the rest of Obama Care is just as flawed but still on full throttle: the individual mandate; the half-trillion in new taxes that have already started going into effect; and the trillions in insurance subsidies that will pile on our national debt when we can least afford it. This picking and choosing of what parts of the law to enforce or not and whose healthcare freedom to protect or not, based on some political calculus, is a spectacle of Executive power run amok and makes a mockery of the democratic process."
