The House passed bi-partisan legislation that Cong. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) supported to maintain low and stable prices for consumers and free up capital that can be used to create jobs and keep American companies competitive in the world economy.
The Business Risk Mitigation and Price Stabilization Act will help companies obtain the necessary relief from government imposed capital draining requirements imposed by Dodd Frank.
Said Ros-Lehtinen, "I am pleased that the House approved this bill with strong support from both parties. At a time when unemployment is still far too high for Americans looking for jobs, we must do all we can to remove regulations that harm job creation."
