U.S. Rep. Dennis Ross (FL-15) wrote directly to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, demanding accountability and expressing his strong disapproval of the Department of Justice's (DOJ) seizure of phone records from reporters and editors within the Associated Press (AP). In a separate letter, he also urged Speaker Boehner and the Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Issa to hold an immediate investigation.

"This confiscation of phone records from reporters is a blatant violation of our first amendment rights," said Ross. "We need an immediate investigation into this disturbing power grab."
