Today, Congressman Dave Camp (R-Midland) released the following statement after voting for H.R. 3, the "Northern Route Approval Act" which would end the years of delay and immediately approve construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline.

"Starting construction on the Keystone XL pipeline is a crucial step toward an all-of-the-above energy strategy that will put America on a path to energy independence. The pipeline will enhance America's energy security, create tens of thousands of American jobs, and reinforce economic ties with Canada, our closest trading partner."
