U.S. Rep. Scott DesJarlais is set to be part of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing, "Benghazi: Exposing Failure and Recognizing Courage." It is schedule for Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.

"The Obama Administration has yet to offer a clear and credible explanation of the events that occurred surrounding the Benghazi terrorist attacks," said DesJarlais, R-South Pittsburg, who represents Tennessee's 4th Congressional District. "The information put out by the White House has been dictated by politics rather than the responsibility to inform the American people of the truth."

"This hearing will expose new facts and details that the Obama Administration has tried to suppress and cover up. The House Oversight Committee, under the leadership of Chairman (Darrell) Issa, has already brought to light several inaccuracies in the administration's version of the events that occurred before, during and after that tragic day."
