"It is an understatement to say that all of us have our prayers with Boston this morning. I woke up this morning with an eerie reminder about how we can all be so vulnerable and that the possibility of evil and tragedy occurring is ever real. But I also woke up with the renewed commitment that we can all work together and thank those first responders and others who came to the rescue of the victims and those that were hurt yesterday in Boston. But also a determined sense to hold those accountable that perpetrated this terrorist attack.
"The Boston Marathon really is all that is good about America. It stands for strength and perseverance, and I think that is the spirit with which all of us want to tackle this latest event that an individual or individuals tried to shake America, and we won't let them do that."
