Congressman John Boehner (R-West Chester) today praised House passage of the Cybersecurity Information Sharing and Protection Act (H.R. 624) with a veto-proof bipartisan majority:

"Stopping cyber-attacks by foreign countries like China as well as private criminal organizations is critical to keeping our homeland safe and protecting American jobs. This measure will help stop cyber-attacks by arming private-sector companies with government intelligence on cyber threats, while protecting the American people's privacy. I want to thank Chairman Rogers, Chairman Goodlatte, Chairman McCaul, Congressman Thornberry, and all of our Members who worked hard to craft this important bipartisan measure."
