Renacci Statement on Apparent Terrorist Attack in Boston

Location: Washington, DC

Today, U.S. Rep. Jim Renacci (OH-16) released the following statement on the apparent terrorist attack in Boston:

"I am deeply saddened by news of the explosions in Boston and of the loss of innocent American life. I continue to monitor the situation. We need to get all of the facts before we jump to any conclusions, but we must find out how this happened and ensure it never occurs again. Now is the time for us to come together as Americans. We will not falter in the face of this evil, no matter where it came from or what twisted goal it hopes to accomplish."

Rep. Renacci is serving his second term in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he is a member of the Ways and Means Committee. Prior to his election he worked as a Certified Public Accountant in the health care industry, and owned and operated over 60 other businesses in the automotive and sports management fields.
