Today, U.S. Senator Dean Heller (R-NV) recognized Tax Day with the following statement:
"As Nevadans send in their tax returns today, they are no doubt reminded just how burdensome our tax code is. Filing taxes shouldn't require form after form and or the cost of paying a professional. Our nation's tax code is far too complicated, and too often acts as a barrier for individuals looking to build or expand their business. As Nevada continues to struggle with record unemployment, Congress should address our complex tax code now so that Nevadans and people across the country can plan for the future and get to work building a brighter future for their children and grandchildren," said Senator Dean Heller.
