Rep.LoBiondo's Reaction to the State of the Union Address
February 2, 2005
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Frank A. LoBiondo (NJ-2) released the following statement on President Bush's State of the Union address:
"I applaud the President's message and his blueprint for a lasting peace. I was especially pleased to hear the President support an increase in death benefits for our brave men and women who make the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. This news is significant for the five servicemembers from the 2nd District of New Jersey who have been killed in the line duty while fighting for our freedom. I will do everything I can to honor their service and see that this measure passes. We can never truly repay our military families for everything they have given up for our nation."
