U.S. Rep. Dennis Ross (FL-15) issued the following statement for the third anniversary of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare):
"Tomorrow marks the third anniversary of ObamaCare being signed into law. I have voted to repeal this law because I believe it is bad for Americans and bad for our economy. We have a problem with our health care system. However, instead of this one-size-fits-all approach to health care, we must find a market-based, patient-centered solution that allows for more options and gets the government out of the doctor-patient relationship.
"As a small business owner for more than twenty years, I understand that we must allow the free market to create robust competition to bring down health care costs and increase choice and innovation. We can accomplish this by encouraging individual ownership, incentives for wellness, tort reform, and allowing for the sale of health insurance across state lines. I will continue to work with my fellow Members of Congress to present to the nation a more reasonable alternative to ObamaCare."
