U.S. Rep. Ron Kind made the following statement regarding the 113th Session of Congress.
"I've had a chance to meet with many of the new members; they strike me as pragmatic and very reasonable, something we need more of in Congress. We have to stop electing people that have a "my way" or "no way" attitude. Whether the 113th Congress succeeds or fails is going to be based on bipartisanship and compromise.
"I am committed to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to create good paying jobs and get our economy moving again. It's time to really start attacking our budget deficits and that means going where the money is -- health care, defense , and tax reform. This is the only way to ensure continued economic growth and a sound fiscal path for our country."
