Gohmert Mourns Those Killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School

Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX-01) released the following statement today regarding the heartless shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School today:

"There are no words to describe the sheer horror and unbearable pain felt today. Our hearts mourn and break for the families of those injured and heartlessly killed in Newtown, Connecticut. My thoughts and fervent prayers are with those who lost loved ones and innocent children at the hands of such senseless violence. It is my prayer that we will continue to hold each other dear and lift up those suffering during this tragic time."

Congressman Louie Gohmert is the Vice Chair of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security. Prior to being elected to serve in Congress, Louie was elected to three terms as District Judge in Smith County, Texas and also served as Chief Justice of Texas'12th Court of Appeals.
