Today, Congressman Kerry Bentivolio announced his co-sponsorship of the Ronald Reagan Anniversary Celebration Resolution. The resolution details significant achievements of Ronald Reagan's legacy, including the strengthening of America's national defense and the defeat of Soviet communism.
"President Reagan was a defender of free markets and free people across the globe," said Rep. Bentivolio. "On his 102nd birthday, I'm proud to honor him and all that he stood for."
Congressman Trent Franks (AZ-8) introduced the resolution this morning. It has been referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
