Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr., M.D., (R-South Louisiana) issued the following statement after holding a town hall earlier today at the Calcasieu Council on Aging in Lake Charles:
"I would like to thank all the constituents attending today's town hall in Lake Charles. We talked about the federal government's spending and ways to make it operate more efficiently, the waste, fraud, and abuse associated with healthcare, and many other topics affecting Southwest Louisiana such as jobs and the state of the economy. I always look forward to hearing from the people I represent on Capitol Hill in addition to answering their questions. My office plans to consistently conduct town halls in the upcoming months as I seek to meet with as many of you as possible to hear what is on your mind."
