Today, Congressman Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) was sworn in by House Speaker John Boehner for his third term as U.S. Representative for the Sixth Congressional District of Louisiana. He was joined by his wife, Dr. Laura Cassidy, and their three children, Will, Meg and Kate. A picture of the swearing-in ceremony is below.

The Sixth Congressional District of Louisiana includes all of Pointe Coupee Parish and parts of Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Lafourche, Livingston, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. John the Baptist, Terrebonne and West Baton Rouge Parishes. Congressman Cassidy has District offices in Baton Rouge and Livingston and will be opening an office in Thibodaux this month. Information on the district can be located at http://Cassidy.House.gov.
