Congressman Tom Price, M.D., (GA-06) responded to the January 2013 jobs report today, saying:

"Today's jobs report comes at the end of a week of disappointing economic news for American families. With a contracting economy, plummeting consumer confidence and rising unemployment claims, this is not what a real recovery looks like and the White House has to at some point stop making excuses and start producing real solutions. House Republicans have time and again put pro-growth policies on the table, and we will continue to do so. We hope the Democrat-majority in Washington will engage in an honest and thoughtful dialogue with us so we actually get the nation's economy moving, our fiscal house in order and more Americans back work."
