Representative Mark Meadows (NC-11) released the following statement on the 40th anniversary of the national March for Life.
"Forty years ago, the Supreme Court made a decision that would change our nation forever. Since that day, I have been fortunate enough to get married and have two beautiful children. Today, as Americans from across the country gather in our nation's capital, we will remember the estimated 55 million innocent children who have died as a result of abortions in the United States.
"It is my hope that those who gather today will leave with a renewed sense of resolve in their fight for the unborn. They should know that they have a partner in me, and together we will work to protect the lives of innocent children."
