U.S. Representative Ann Kirkpatrick, D-Ariz., released the following statement today after voting yes on HR 325, the "No Budget, No Pay Act':

"Part of our duty as members of Congress is to pass a budget. Today's vote took us a step closer to that and a step further from default on the national debt. But easing our nation's short-term fiscal uncertainty does not erase the long-term need to address our debt and deficits. I am ready to work across the aisle to find common ground on this important issue and reach a solution."
