It is critical for me to continue my work in education to remove North Carolina from 49th in per pupil spending. I want to ensure that all students have equal access to education. No investment pays a better return than education! I believe in and have fought for improved access to good education from pre-kindergarten through college, as well as job training programs that provide workers with the skills they need in order to compete in the 21st century economy.
