Governor Mike Pence today held his first meeting with members of his Cabinet. The meeting included 21 agency heads whom he has appointed to his administration over the last month.
"Today's meeting was our first chance to bring all of this talent to the same table and talk about what we're going to do for the people of Indiana," said Governor Pence. "These leaders will make our roadmap a reality, and their collaboration and teamwork will improve the quality of life for all Hoosiers."
The Pence administration is focused on bringing new jobs and attracting new business, developing world-class schools, protecting taxpayers and supporting Hoosier families.
Today marks the Governor's second full day in office. He has hit the ground running, signing 15 executive orders immediately after inauguration and submitting his proposed budget yesterday.
