Issue Position

"Unfortunately too many legislators are focused on tearing down our public structures. The size of government is not nearly so important as the quality of service it provides. Government is all of us, working together and investing in those things we cannot do alone. Together we build vital communities we can be proud of, where all citizens are treated fairly. Together we protect our clean air and water. Together we make sure our low income neighbors do not send their children to bed hungry. Together we offer quality education for all our children. Government, at its best, is neighbors pitching in to create a place that works for all of us."
