Farming is tough enough without a lot of unnecessary government interference. I will work to reduce taxes and fees on South Georgia farmers, and I will work to ensure that while we protect our environment, we not put unnecessary regulatory and environmental burdens on our farmers.
I will also work to promote our agricultural community in Atlanta and beyond. I will listen to real farmers as they express what they need to keep producing the food and fiber that feed and clothe the world.
Agriculture is the economic backbone of the 11th Senate District, and it will remain one of my top priorities in the State Senate.
