Fleming Continues to Stand with Israel

U.S. Representative John Fleming, M.D. (LA-4) released the following statement in support of the nation of Israel:

"While the ceasefire that was announced today is an important step, there should be no confusion about this: the nation of Israel has every right to defend itself against attacks from Hamas and other terrorist groups. I join with the leaders of Israel in hoping that Hamas will respect this latest attempt at stopping the violence, and I pledge to continue working in Congress to ensure that the United States stands strong in its support of Israel."
