This state is too beautiful to clear cut and bulldoze in the name of "progress and development". I will always take into consideration the environmental impact of any proposal that is presented to me.
Decriminalize/Legalize Marijuana: Rather than cost the state millions of dollars every year locking up non violent marijuana users, issue tickets to those caught with small amounts. It would save the state millions every year as well as generate some revenue. Ideally we can legalize and tax it in the same fashion as tobacco or alcohol, but it is a start.
