Poe: It Seems the Administration has Something to Hide

"It is disturbing that this Administration continues to do anything necessary to keep the truth about Fast and Furious from the American people," said Poe. "It seems the Administration has something to hide. Congress has the obligation to pursue the truth because the Department of Justice refuses to tell the truth. The Legislative Branch should not have to sue the Executive Branch for documents it is entitled to see in the first place. This Administration, the self-proclaimed "most transparent" in history, has gone to great lengths (even invoking Executive Privilege) to make sure the information in those documents is kept under lock and key. The shared goal of Congress and the DOJ should be to work together to investigate Fast & Furious and prevent something as reckless as this from ever happening again. Unfortunately, it appears that the only goal of the Administration is to protect the Attorney General."
