Property tax reform will be one of my 1st priorities if you should elect me to the Iowa State House. Too much talk and not enough action has been going on in regards to this issue. Lets create an environment now in Iowa where businesses can thrive, hire, and expand.

I believe that the best way to help Iowa is to let more people keep more of their own money. I believe that the individual knows best how to spend their money. The more money they have, the more money they can spend which means the more money businesses will bring in. With that added revenue businesses can invest in their business and help create more good paying jobs. Competition along with the free markets is the best way to get our economy working for us, not government spending.

I know that Iowa's infrastructure needs work, but I also know that Iowans are hurting right now and I don't feel that raising taxes right now is a good idea. I would like to see investments made in Iowa's infrastructure through savings and logical cuts on existing excessive spending.
