We're closer to equality today, after Manhattan's 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals ruled the Defense of Marriage Act to be unconstitutional. We need the Supreme Court to strike this legislation down too. It's unacceptable that an entire group of people continues to be discriminated against by law.
