Arkansas can be a leader in the 21st century economy if we adopt innovative and aggressive strategies that promote entrepreneurship and embrace new technologies. That means:
-Investing in workforce education and job training to prepare our citizens for jobs in clean energy and high-tech fields.
-Extending the most advanced broadband access to every community in Arkansas.
-Providing incentives and tax breaks for new start-ups in emerging high-growth job sectors.
-Adopting fresh ideas that would immediately create lots of new jobs, such as energy improvement districts that would fund loans for energy improvements and clean renewable energy projects.
