Iowa's children deserve a premiere education. Iowa's current public educational system is broken, as evidenced by Iowa's declining test scores when compared with other states.

To return Iowa's schools to the best in the nation status we must:
1) Allow parents to choose the method of schooling that best fits their child's needs.
2) Put educational decisions back in the hands of the local community and parents.
3) Provide funding for private, public, home and charter schools.
4) Develop a program where the state educational funding follows the student vs. automatically going to the local school district.
5) Reward teachers whose students achieve high standards.
6) Reward school districts or affiliations that improve their academic standards.
