Job Growth: In April 2011, Ernst & Young released a study ranking us the least economically competitive state in the nation (Study Link). We must develop a pro-business environment in our state if we are ever going to attract high paying companies. We must take a look at our burdensome tax system and the excessive regulations that are driving business out of our state. I will take a common sense approach to business. I will not support legislation that picks winners and losers. I will push for legislation that makes an even environment for all businesses. I do not believe that it is the governments job to decide which companies are successful.
