Issue Position

All roads lead to jobs. Jobs are what the district needs most as the people of District 45 are unemployed and underemployed. If the proper economic development initiatives are delivered, then jobs will be the result. An economic development plan that encourages business development and entrepreneurship will unequivocally bring jobs to the district. I have already created relationships with multimillion dollar Orlando based companies that are prepared to hire in the district and mentor small businesses in the district.

I plan to provide a network where constituents can reach businesses that are hiring. Also, I want to provide incentives that will allow for tax credit and exemptions for in-district hiring and employment which will undoubtedly aid in the creation of good paying jobs. Moreover, I will assist the residents in District 45 in finding jobs inside and outside of the district by hosting quarterly career fairs, job fairs and company open house events.
