Blog: It is time to fire Cynthia Lummis!

In a recent U.S. House vote, Wyoming was not granted any Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) funds. These funds are owed to Wyoming after years of the Federal government not paying Wyoming what it was owed.

Rep. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), my opponent, was furious. She claims that the system has let Wyoming down.

The truth is that Cynthia Lummis has let Wyoming down. For all her hot air about this vote, what did she do to change it?

She left a phone message with the Committee Chairman. He never called back. Wyoming lost out on AML funds.

Leaving messages does not hack it. She should have been hounding every member of that committee and fighting for Wyoming. If you leave a message and do not hear back in a timely manner, you call again. You show up in their office. After all, she is a member of the majority party in the house…

This is the type of gross incompetence that would get any working person fired. Yet, as a Congresswoman making $177,000 a year…Cynthia Lummis feels that she has done her part despite having lost millions for Wyoming.

It is time to fire Cynthia Lummis.

With your help, we will continue to show the people of Wyoming that they have a better option. I will be a true representative of Wyoming and not just a party cheerleader.

Will you help us today by donating $50, 25, or $5 today?

Thanks!
