Issue Position

We need long term structural stability in our budgeting policy, not bogus "budget balancing" with one time quick fixes we have seen in recent Legislatures. There needs to be greater planning in our budgeting process and John will call upon the state's leading economists to come together and look at the future resource needs of the state. We need to build economic sustainability in Minnesota.
