This week, economic numbers continued to show that we are on a steady, albeit slow path to recovery. It was reported that U.S. consumer confidence has jumped to a 7-month high, when the economy added 259,000 jobs this past February. Additionally, it was reported that single-family home prices rose for the sixth month in a row, further signs that the housing market is beginning to gain momentum since the economic collapse.
Schiff said, "Though times are still tough and too many Americans are looking for work, our economy is continuing to improve. We still have a long way to go, but it's encouraging that our housing market is making progress and consumers are beginning to feel confident again."
