Rep. Anna G. Eshoo (D-Palo Alto), Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, released the following statement today after the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approved a notice of proposed rulemaking for an incentive auction of broadcast television spectrum:

"The FCC's adoption of a proposed rulemaking to implement a voluntary incentive spectrum auction begins the process of fulfilling Congress's vision for fast, ubiquitous broadband to all Americans.
