As a teacher, principal, and program administrator, I dedicated my life to making sure every child had an opportunity to succeed. As your State Senator, I fought to strengthen our schools to make them the best they can be. Nevada cannot continue to be a state of hope and opportunity if our children do not receive a quality education.
Our state is at a crossroads, and I believe we must face the future with courage and competence, because it is our moral responsibility to leave our children a state in better shape than we found it.
That means we need a plan to put Nevadans back to work, provide funding for our schools, and restore faith in state government. The people of this state work hard, and they deserve a state government that works just as hard for them.
