Carrying the message of a proven problem solver, Billings State Senator and Democratic Nominee for Congress Kim Gillan won the second of three debates in the U.S. House race tonight before a packed audience at Montana State University-Billings. The debate was broadcast by Yellowstone Public Radio and live-streamed on the internet by the Billings Gazette.

"Montana needs a proven problem solver in the U.S. House," said Kim. "I will work to strengthen Medicare and Social Security. I will put women's health ahead of partisanship, and tax breaks for small businesses ahead of tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas. I am not going to sign away Montana's future for any special interest pledges -- I will stand up to either party to protect Montana values."

Kim is running an aggressive campaign to become the first woman elected to Congress from Montana in 72 years. Her campaign today released a new commercial, "Only," illustrating her experience as a problem solver.
