Across the board, taxes are too high and they are stifling economic growth in Pennsylvania. Property taxes are a real burden on many individuals, especially older Pennsylvanians. All proposals to reduce, reform, and repeal taxes need to be on the table. With major policy shifts such as this, careful consideration must to given to make sure the change is appropriate, the numbers add up, and the funding schools rely on is protected.
In an economic climate where Pennsylvania's tax collections are already down, out of control government spending needs to be reduced so that lower taxes can be realized going forward.
