Don't Ask, Don't Tell

Statement

Today is the one-year anniversary of the implementation of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" repeal. For the past year, our brave servicemen and women have been able to serve openly and honestly in our military regardless of who they love. I'm proud to have fought side by side many other committed champions of repeal to help end this corrosive policy. As The New York Times article below makes clear, ending DADT was not only the right thing to do, but it has been a success for our military.
