Kevin has always been proponent of ending per-diem pay for politicians, and, when elected, will not accept this type of compensation. He believes it's unreasonable and unfair for lawmakers to collect $163/day, on top of a salary that is twice the typical household income of families living in the 112th district.
Many people living in the 112th District are missing out on the property tax relief that came from the creation of gaming revenue. The tax relief assistance forms that are mailed to citizens are often overlooked or thrown away, simply because the state government has done a poor job of keeping taxpayers informed.
Kevin will introduce legislation to automatically provide property tax relief to all homeowners.
