Perlmutter Statement on "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Anniversary

Today U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter released the following statement on the one-year anniversary of the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy in the US military.

"The United States military is stronger today because of the repeal of DADT. Brave and skilled Americans who want to wear the uniform may serve their nation without the fear of losing their job. The struggle for equal rights for all Americans is a driving force in our history, and today we celebrate the closing of another chapter in that fight. To all who serve, thank you for your service."
