In remembrance of the 11th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks that took place on September 11, 2001, Rep. Ralph Hall (TX-04) released the following statement:
"Today Americans remember together the tragic events of 9/11. We pay tribute to all those who lost their lives at the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and the crash of Flight 93 in the fields of Pennsylvania. We also remember the bravery, heroism, and selfless efforts by first responders - many who lost their own lives in the process of saving others'.
"Although the years pass, we continue to lift up our prayers for the families and friends who lost loved ones that day. And we also continue to pray for all the men and women in uniform who place their lives in harm's way to defend our Nation's safety and freedom. We owe both our servicemen and women and their families our gratitude for their sacrifices.
"Most importantly, we must continue to lift up our prayers for our Nation. Americans came together to overcome the tragedies of 9/11, and together we will continue to stand strong. May God continue to bless America."
