Congressman Diane Black (R-TN) issued the following statement today condemning the attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya and the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, which resulted in the killing of four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens.
"I am outraged and saddened by the news of the attacks at the U.S. consulate in Libya and the U.S. embassy in Egypt and the killing of U.S. ambassador to Libya and the other Americans serving with him. My thoughts and prayers are with their family and friends and all those who suffered in this attack. As this tragedy demonstrates, radical Islam is a very real and serious threat to the American people and the values that have made our nation great."
