A great turn-out this morning for the Delaware Bankers Association's Women and Minority Small Business Start-Up Seminar. The attendees, many of whom I got to talk to individually about their exciting business ideas, heard from successful entrepeneurs, helpful agencies such as DEDO and SBA, and maybe most importantly, lenders. I was there to encourage participation in the state's Small Business Credit Initiative, which helps small businesses get loans for which they might not otherwise have qualified, and get them at lower rates.
