"The deadly attack that killed four Americans in Libya is a national tragedy and I join in expressing my condolences. We are very fortunate to have outstanding diplomats stationed around the world representing our nation, including many volatile countries. Today, we acknowledge their service -- and the service of Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith and the two other Americans who died in Libya."
