Location: Unknown

Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet released the following statement denouncing the attacks in Libya that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.

"Today, I join Coloradans and Americans everywhere in mourning the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens and three staff members. Their deaths are the result of senseless and unjustified attacks on the American consulate in Benghazi. My thoughts are with the families of those we lost, and I offer them my sincere condolences. These individuals died serving our country while promoting democracy and freedom abroad."
