Tuesday, September 11 marked the eleventh anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks. I joined my colleagues in Congress on the East steps of the Capitol for a remembrance ceremony. Eleven years later, the spirit of our nation is stronger thanks to the extraordinary acts of heroism we saw that day. America has mourned the loss of nearly 3,000 loved ones, friends and colleagues, many from our own backyard in the Massachusetts Fifth District. It is important that the memory of those we lost continue to be a unifying strength for our nation and inspire us to move forward together.
