Congressman John Culberson issued the following statement on the U.S. District Court's Voter ID ruling:
"The people of Texas are right in wanting to protect the integrity of our elections. We show photo identification for nearly every service we obtain and going to the voting booth should be no different. I believe that the federal judges got this wrong and it will be overturned. The Supreme Court has already ruled in favor of Voter ID laws in other states, and Texas should have the same rights to protect our elections."
